Unit 8, Ancient Rome; Lesson 16: Study Guide

Note:  TTW= The Teacher Will; TSW= The Students Will; GCR= Google Classroom 

I.  Standard(s):  6.51-6.62

     A.  Clear Target:  I can demonstrate mastery of all of the Unit 8 Part B standards.

     B.  Bell Ringer: TSW get out their notes over the unit in preparation to complete their Study Guides.

     C.  Set: TTW lead a discussion on the clear target and or bell ringer to ensure that the students understand it/them.

     D.  Presentation of New Material:  N/A  When the students are done with their study guides, they will work on missing work for social studies or another class.  If they do not have any missing work they can write, read, or draw.  The scrap paper is by the printer on the counter on the right side of the room.

          1.  Checks For Understanding (CFU):  Test

          2.  Video in Video N/A

          3.  Simulation:  N/A

     E.  Guided Practice: TTW hand out the study guide and explain the directions to TS so that they can complete it.

    F.  Independent Practice (The assignments are due the next school day unless otherwise stated):  TSW complete their study guides during the assigned time in class.  If TS do not complete the study guide in class, TSW take the study guide home to complete if for review the next class day.

1.  TSW use their notes to complete their study guides in preparation for the test.

2.  TSW work on missing work when they are done with the study guide. If TS do not have any missing work, TS can write, read or draw.


     G.  Closure: TSW have their study guides completed

     H.  Assessment:  Study guide completion
