A. Clear Target: I can demonstrate my knowledge on ancient Israel by completing the pretest with at least a 100%
B. Bell Ringer: TSW open their laptops, go to the class website and find today’s lesson. TSW select the Pre-Test link from Section D below and study the Quizlet flashcards until the teacher begins class.
1. Previous Day’s Clear Target: I can demonstrate an understanding of Ancient Israel, its people, and their culture.

C. Set: TTW lead a discussion on the clear target and or bell ringer to ensure that the students understand it/them and try to peak the students’ interest in the topic of the day.
D. Presentation of New Material: TSW select “Test” from the Quizlet menu and set the test up. TSW set up the test so that it includes all possible questions, and so that it is only multiple choice. After they have it set up properly, TSW take the test until they get a 100% on it. TSW work on the Pre-Test on their own without any help. The first group to have their selected players (TTW ensure that the teams with more players than other teams choose only enough players to make the teams equal in the classroom) show the teacher their computers with all of the multiple choice questions possible on the test, and with a 100% on each test wins the competition. ALL STUDENTS will complete the Pre-test without any help, but only the selected players will compete. Here is the link to the Pre-test Quizlet.

E. Guided Practice: TTW show the students how to get to and use Quizlet. TTW also show the students how to set up the test in Quizlet and explain what they are doing to complete the day’s lesson. TTW then choose a student at random to perform the same tasks.
F. Independent Practice (The assignments are due the next school day unless otherwise stated):
1. TSW Study the Quizlet flashcards for the first 10 minutes of class, or until the teacher begins class. The link to the Quizlet is in section “D. Presentation of New Material.”
2. TSW set up the Quizlet test as all multiple choice and using all of the questions. After the students achieve a 100% on the re-test, they must start the re-test they will show it to the teacher.
G. Closure: TSW ask any questions that they may have about the upcoming test.
