I. Standard(s): Unit 8A and B
A. Clear Target: I can demonstrate mastery of all of the Unit 1-8B standards. Including: Geography; religion; governments; advancements; important people, groups and events; social systems and legacies.
B. Bell Ringer: Study Guide – TTW have two students pass out the copies of the study guides as students enter the classroom. TTW instruct students to get the study guides and begin working on them immediately. TSW have all but the last 15 minutes of class to complete the study guides by themselves. TTW take the answer keys and show them to the students on the overhead projector for the last 15 minutes. If the students finish before the last fifteen minutes of class, they can check their answers with Google. TTW be mindful of the time to ensure that they get both answer keys reviewed with the students. TSW place their name on the study guides and turn them into the drawer under the counters in the classroom that have their class period written on them.
C. Set: TTW ensure that every student has a study guide and understands that they are to complete the study guides on their own.
