A. Clear Target: I can identify and locate the major geographical features of China. I will know that I have it when with at least 100% accuracy I can label a map of China capturing these features.
B. Set/Interest Cue: Mr. Zoeller China Geography Video and TTW tell some jokes, or ask some riddles to the students in order to get their brains ready for learning.
C. Bell Ringer: TSW answer the following question on their own paper and turn it in. What are natural barriers and how do they help shape a civilization?

E. Presentation of New Material: TSW take notes on a lecture in class. TSW be able to answer check for understanding questions that the instructor may ask along the way. TS may also discuss some check for understanding questions and their answers with a peer when directed by the instructor.
Students can also watch the video of the lecture if they were absent, need to verify, or just complete their notes by going to Edpuzzle for their class period.
