     A.  Clear Target:  I can demonstrate mastery of all of the Unit 1 standards by showing an understanding of: The key leaders; the major empires; the major religions; and the major trade networks.

     B.  Set: TTW lead a discussion over the study guide to see if any students have questions and or need help.

     C.  Bell Ringer:  TSW complete their study guides if they are not done already, and prepare for a test review.

     D.  Presentation of New Material: TSW play a review game.  It will be TT choice.  TT can choose a game called grudge Cornhole, where each team will start with 5 Xs on the board under their team name.  The students, in their teams will answer questions from the study guide (with it put away).  If the team gets the question correct, they get to toss tow bags at the cornhole board.  For each bag that lands on and stays on the board, they get to erase an X of any team.  For each bag that goes into and all the way through the hole on the board, they get to erase two Xs.  If they have zero Xs as a team, instead of erasing Xs from other teams, they can add Xs to their team.  The team with the most Xs at the end wins.

TT can also choose a Blooket over ancient Israel.  Here is the link to the Blooket.

          1.  Checks For Understanding (CFU):

          2.  Video in Video N/A

    F.  Independent Practice (The assignments are due the next school day):  The students will play the review game unless they were absent the day prior.  If they were absent the day prior they will use their notes packet and knowledge from the lessons, TSW complete a study guide over unit three.
